Well, I am Jaymie! Known to those near and dear to me as Jaym. So.. This is the place I am supposed to write a little more in depth about who I am... Where on earth to begin?
I am 27 years old, born and raised on the Toronto area. When I was 16, I was slightly rebelious, in love (with my husband of course) and ended up leaving home when I was 17. That is a very long story for another day... We spent a year in Quebec, before packing up again and heading East to the beautiful province of Nova Scotia.
I attended Mount Saint Vincent University, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminology. I somehow ended up in a field completely unrelated!
We bought our first home 5 years ago. It's not big, glamorous or "modern", however is is homey and comfortable. We love coming home at the end of each and everyday.
January 21st, 2010- we were given the biggest joy in our life. We had Kaylee. She is spirited with endless energy, happy, confident and already at the ripe age of 3 1/2 slightly defiant. She certainly tests her limits with me each and everyday. Thankfully this Momma, maintains her roll as Boss.
2 years ago Jordon and I were FINALLY married. After 10 years together, a toddler and a home, we decided that we should bite the bullet. We were married on the beaches of Punta Cana on April 8th 2011.
I am a full time working Mom in Sales. I love people! So clearly this industry was meant for me! I Still have a hard time finding the balance of being a Mom and wife, working, taking care of my home, 2 dogs, 2 cats, fish (I know I am crazy!) and then finding a little bit of time for myself! It is a constant battle, but one I believe I am getting better at.
Next...I have a love for food, which is one of my biggest passions in life, as well as my biggest enemy. I love to cook, and I consider myself a great cook! Spending time in the kitchen is my favorite place in my home. All of that being said, I also love to eat that food. My battle with weight goes hand in hand. I never considered it a problem until this year when I realized the weight was not just going to go away.
6 weeks ago I joined the gym... I go 5 days a week and have already noticed a significant difference in how strong I feel. That being said, I have not lost a lot of weight... I am talking 5-7lbs... I have not really changed my diet and know that is a huge contributor to weight... So, this is the battle I now face... I have taken one step in the process, now to follow through and be accountable...
There you have it folks... A little more about me... Anything you want to know??? Let me know.
